[REVIEW] -HaneAme 雨波- Tifa Lockhart and Belfast Photo Book Sets

Time for another cosplay ROM/Photo book review! This time, I'll be reviewing HaneAme 雨波's new cosplay photo book sets, Tifa Lockhart of Final Fantasy VII and Belfast of Azurlane!!

For those who are not familiar with HaneAme, she's a Taiwanese cosplayer who is best known for her sexy cosplays. Like most modern cosplayers, she's been making photo books and cosplay ROM (or what we call the doujin cosplay photo album stored in CD) which are being sold at Doujinshi fairs like Comiket or Taiwan's Fancy Frontier and she even has her own store for pre-orders and mail-orders. She also have a Patreon where she is releasing photo sets on a monthly basis for her fans around the world. If you're into sexy cosplays, I'm sure you'll love HaneAme! All I can say is, HaneAme is one hell of a babe!

This is not my first time to get HaneAme's merch. Ever since I bought her Scathach and her first 2B photo book on 2017, I've already laid my eyes on her awesome works! So far I already have five of her cosplay PB and ROMs to date.

So, how did I get these awesome sets? HaneAme opened a preorder for her Tifa and Belfast cosplay photo book set last June via her official shop: https://haneame.myshopify.com/

What I love about her shop is that she accepts order directly from overseas! Unlike my usual purchasing procedure when buying cosplay ROM in Japan, I won't be needing a proxy service or a forwarding service like Tenso or Blackship to be able to have it delivered to my place. Plus, the shop is accepting Paypal so yeah, more reasons for you to buy her merch! Shipping fee is also good especially if you plan to get more of her works.

The photo book is printed in B5 size art paper with 157g thickness. It has this premium feel and very much appealing covers on both sides. Another thing to love about these books is the perfect printed color of each page. It's not dull, it is not over-saturated or too vibrant, simply perfect and pleasing to the eyes. Well, don't mind the photos I shot coz the color is way much better in actual. Some pages/images contains quotes/phrases and some comments by the photographer in three languages (TW/JP/EN) which I really enjoyed reading as I browse each elegant shot.

Inside the photo book

Digital files are stored with the QR code inside the DVD case. It has 99 digital photos included. I'm so glad HaneAme did not ditch using the common DVD Case for the digital files because as a long time collector of Cosplay ROM I really appreciate the feel and look of these DVD cases and ROM jackets. There's always something about buying physical goods that you can't feel/appreciate when buying their digital versions.

HaneAme's Tifa is amazing, elegant, and sexy! It includes 3 costume variations of Tifa: Original Costume, In-game Gown, and Bunny bartender. Each Tifa is simply stunning! From fierce fighting poses to elegant sexy poses, HaneAme perfectly pulled this cosplay off and gave justice to the definition of SEXY. This is definitely one of my favorite HaneAme cosplays to date. I bet you'll want more when you see it.

I ordered the regular/normal set for Belfast which cost $44.00. WHY?! Well, don't get me wrong as I fckin' love HaneAme's Belfast, I simply don't have enough money to get the luxury set, that's all. Still, you're not missing a lot even if you only get the normal set. You will still get an exquisite looking set of Belfast. Same as mentioned in the Tifa set, this set got a great photo book, ROM, five heart-shaped post cards and three B4-size posters. On the other hand, the Luxury set costs $67.00 and includes an acrylic board of Belfast, wedding ring, and a marriage certificate (for those who wanted to feel loved and committed by HaneAme's Belfast, go get this one...www).

Now, what I love about the set is the number of costume variations she did for this Belfast cosplay. There are five Belfast costumes done by HaneAme: Original Maid, Dating Sweater, Kitty Lingerie, Wedding Dress and Swimsuit. Original Maid and Kitty Lingerie are probably my favorites among them. There is something graceful about this set, it's aesthetically pleasing! Her playful emotions in the Kitty Lingerie album compliment her sexiness very well while her innocence in the Original Maid album will certainly make your heart skip a beat (especially when she started showing that lovely peach ass--- Sorry, I sometimes get carried away by her extreme sexiness!www) HaneAme did a great job cosplaying Belfast especially with those quality costumes she used, I'm very pleased with this set.

Ok, this is a separate purchase and has limited availability. The polaroid photo cost $11.00. While you can choose which character and costume variation you want, it will be sent randomly so you yeah, you can't choose which exact photo you like. Lucky me I got a nice one!w For collectors of cosplay stuffs like me, this is something I would certainly pay for to get.

Buying this lot cost me $125.00 (including regular shipping which is 20USD flat rate) and yeah, it seems a lot for two sets of cosplay photo books. But personally I think it's worth the price I paid and here's my personal opinion:

• Quality work! The quality of her photos are top notch sexy! I rarely find cosplayers who can do aesthetically pleasing poses and post-processed photos that brought out the feeling of that 2D character she's cosplaying. Not only her photos but the merch itself as well!  The photo books feel very premium. Even the posters and post cards are of quality finish!

• Limited Stocks! These sets won't be available forever. Once it is sold out, reprinting these sets might take time or even won't be re-released anymore. So better get your copies now while supplies last. Like I set, the price is justified (at least for me) as you will get a bunch of other goods with the sets.

• Signed books! For a Cosplay ROM/PB collector like me, this is a total deal-breaker! Not that I'm hoping to get it sold for a higher price someday, it just makes the merch more special. Well, she signed both books so I'm sold! I also hardly ever get signed ROMs specially if I order via mail-order sites where cosplayers put their works in commission with Doujin shops or mail-order platforms like BOOTH, so yeah, basically you can only get signed merch when you personally attend and meet the cosplayers at conventions.

• Posters! You'll get 3 sheets of poster in each set. Why I love these posters so much is because of their size. It's B4 size (9.8 x 13.9in) and smaller than the usual A2/B2 size poster. "B-But it's smaller!" Exactly! It means you don't have to pin one huge poster in your wall and eventually get tired of seeing that single image after few months. Plus you'll save a lot of spaces for other posters you want to pin on your wall. I'm liking this size and I hope HaneAme will continue to make posters with this size.

Of course, it's not all great for me, and there's still more room for improvement (who am I to say that anyway?) so there are some suggestions I have in mind right now and hopefully that can help HaneAme produce more awesome sets:

• More Digital Files/Contents - I do understand that shooting and post-processing these amazing quality photos take a lot of time and hardwork. But I wouldn't mind paying more to get more as well. Well, the overall quality of the photos captured and processed by the photographer is enough to justify the price. Just think about the hard work they put on these. Maybe I'm just really used to cosplay ROMs made by most Japanese cosplayers which usually contain 150 to 350 photos and only cost around $15 to $30 per ROM. But also keep in mind that despite the smaller quantity of digital files, you'll get top notch quality photos of HaneAme's cosplay. Well, I don't really mind the resolution, doesn't need to be 4k or 8k, as long as it is not too low and uniform in sizes, I'll be very satisfied...www Including a short video clip would be nice as well. Anyway, if you want more of her sexy cosplay photos, you can subscribe to her Patreon for monthly photo set releases!

• Individual ROM (CD/DVD) or Photo book - Some people don't like buying sets despite saving a lot, maybe they don't like having the photo book and only like to buy the digital files/ROM. Actually, this strategy is already being done by HaneAme but exclusively on Toranoana, a Japanese Doujin shop. I'm hoping that fans from overseas can also have additional options when it comes to purchasing her works. Well, there's nothing wrong with the set scheme, actually it's the best option so far since you're actually saving a lot and getting lots of bonuses as well.

• More HaneAme Goods/Merch and Bonuses - Some of her merch are good dealbreakers, for instance the Tifa acrylic stand and those posters included in Tifa and Belfast sets. I'm hoping she can come up with new goods that fans can truly appreciate. I know she also released dakimakura (hugging pillow) before, but not all of us has the courage or the money to buy a 1:1 size HaneAme pillow, right?w Still, it would have been nice to have a Kitty Lingerie Belfast dakimakura as well...( *´艸｀) If you guys have any idea or suggestion on what merch/goods you want HaneAme to make someday, you can comment down below this post. Of course, it's still up to her and her team which goods they should be making next time, all will be appreciated anyways~!

To sum it all up, the Tifa and Belfast sets are definitely the two of the best releases HaneAme have ever made so far. HaneAme was able to bring out the sexiness and elegance of both characters with her great body, well-made costumes, perfectly executed poses, and the skill of her photographer. You can't go wrong buying these sets.

You can see how much effort both HaneAme, her photographer and her team did here and all of that are very much appreciated! Thank you for these amazing works and I hope they continue to do their best! So please if you're gonna be buying it, DON'T REPRODUCE AND UPLOAD THE FILES ONLINE!!! Appreciate and understand why they work so hard to produce it, ok?

[REVIEW] lenfriedom DL-Card Prototype

It's been a while since we last had a Lenfried ROM release and the last ones have been great R-18 ROM and R-15+ mini-ROM. After almost 3 years, Lenfried (Lenlen as me and my friends call her!w) is back with a new photo book set. This time, a wholesome but still sexy ROM/photo book similar to her lenfriedom Type-H.

lenfriedom DL-Card Prototype was released at Cosnug. event last Sunday (June 10) in the form of a downloadable card instead of being in the usual CD format. It costs 1000JPY and contains around 250 photos which is not bad considering the cost of last the ROM released, Lencolle Monochrome, which costs the same but only contains around 150 photos. One reason for the price difference perhaps is because of how lewd the contents are. It is Lenlen's selling point anyway, right?

The mail-order via BOOTH is offered at the same price and is available in PDF and ZIP format.

The photo book includes five (5) different sets of Lenfried in casual clothing or Portrait shots (私服ポートレート). The photos in this set were shot over the past three years (2015-2017, also 2018?) so you may notice some differences in Lenlen's appearance~ In one set of photos, she looks chubby and THICC as if she's preggy...www While in the other ones, she looks more fit and younger, though she never looks like she's aging anyway...www

While it is rated as R-15 and even got their circle included in the R-18 area at Cosnug, this photo set is pure and wholesome with a pinch of Lenfried's sense of teasing. If you've already seen type-H, that's basically this set minus the exposures. A milder R-15 ROM to be exact.

Don't fret, you might think the photobook sounds boring but there's definitely something to satisfy your fetishes. Lenlen did some パンチラ (pantsu shots) throughout the set and I find that already satisfying. We can also see some THICC Lenlen photos~! Thighs, legs, pantsu shots, intentionally lifting her skirt, sticking out her tongue~ Sadly no peeing and paipan exposure for now. In short, this is not an Ero-cosplay photo book.

I'll describe this photobook as AESTHETICALLY PLEASING and SATISFYING! Well yeah, this isn't your typical Lenfried ROM release but the main selling point here is the other side of Lenlen~ The cuteness and purity, her child-like face and smile~ plus her naughty expressions while not exposing anything turns out will still effectively make you aroused~www Lenlen will never fail to make you fall in love with her~! It's like watching your little sister having fun!w Lenfried has this unique charisma that makes me love her more and more whether she do lewd or casual photos.

So, is it worth purchasing this new work?! HELL YES! For hardcore fans like me, everything Lenfried will release is worth buying. It might not be your typical Lenfried ROM which is usually contains exposures, peeing, and other fetishes she's known for, but I'm telling you this photo book is just as good as her other works. I got so excited about the announcement that I was unable to sleep well waiting for the mail-order to open!www While I don't mind buying her older stuffs, I prefer the actual CDs over the DL versions since almost all of them are now uploaded online, which is sad. With her mail-order page finally out, we can expect her new ROMs will be available for purchase in 1-2 days after the event release. (Although I saw some people reacting to the new photo book's lack of exposure and even calling the photo book a "garbage". Those people can't appreciate the beauty of this photo book, they are just a bunch of horny shits!w)

【SOME SIDE NOTES】

I always recommend you support the cosplayers' works by buying it in their mail-order page and refrain from sharing/uploading the sets online. Yes, the cosplayers seem not to care at all but I'm pretty sure they are pissed off with guys who upload their works online. 

Yeah, why do you have to upload her works after buying it? ><

If one can't afford or unable to buy because of the payment settlement process (Ex. Oh me no Credit Card Uh-oh!), doing a private group buy with your friends who can purchase the ROM will be a good option. Adding a little boost for Lenlen is always a good thing to do to encourage her to continue making new ROMs! (I gave a ¥300 boost for this work but I hope I could have gave more than that! >< Of course, Lenlen expressed her delight to all those who gave a BOOST and said that she'll do her best to add up to our expectations!) So, instead of downloading it illegally in doujin-sharing sites, better buy it from her mail-order page listed at the end of this review. 

Don't make it an excuse that you can't use your credit card or you are just being generous to others who can't buy Lenfried's or other cosplayers' stuffs so you are uploading and sharing it. And for those who bought the new photo book, please be a responsible fan. If you want to share it to your friends and others, do it privately, only share it to people you trust, ask them to try buying her works next time and never upload it. I'm saying this over and over again in almost all my review because I want everyone to properly support cosplayers like Lenfried.

What to look forward to in the future? Well, we can expect Lenfried to be back in making ROMs from now on. She might not going to be releasing ROMs at every event but with the mail-order page finally open we can always expect she'll do new ROMs! On the other note, Damisu-san's circle Heruheru3 will be joining Cosholic 23 this summer and hopefully Lenfried will release a new R-18 ROM! Looks like Damisu-san is also planning to continue using the DL-card format and will be improving it over time. So let's continue to support her now that she's back! ♥

[Review] Iori Moe -伊織もえ- 's C89 ROM and Photobooks Set

It's time to check out one of the Cosplay ROM/Photo book sets that I got last Comiket 89! 

I will be reviewing Moe Iori's C89 set today.  Moe Iori (伊織もえ), aka, Iorin (いおりん) is a Japanese cosplayer well known for her Yuna (Final Fantasy X) and 'sexy' cosplays, particularly her Kasumi (Dead or Alive/DOA) cosplay. She made her cosplay circle debut at Comiket last December and she released two photo books and a Cosplay CD-ROM under her circle 「 りんりんいおりん」 .

So let's take a look at her works!

First up, we'll take a look at her Final Fantasy X Photo book, ユウナのおもいで.
The photo book is softcover type but I'm not quite sure about its size orientation...www
It has a beautiful cover of Yuna standing in the water which is actually very nostalgic.
The glossy paper used for the cover and pages is pretty nice to touch, too.

What I like about this photo book is that the photos are nicely selected. The photos taken are dreamy, lovely, nostalgic, and well, sexy! Iorin will surely captivate you with her perfect Yuna smile in every turn of the page. This Yuna photo book definitely brought out the best in Iorin. Great costume, props, shooting locations (sea, cave, and seaside garden house~) and Iorin herself as Yuna is just so perfect. If you love Iorin's Yuna cosplay, I highly recommend this photo book to you! (^^)/ 

Iorin also released an original photo book, 冬のいおり, a collection of her casual/plain clothes and other non-cosplay photos. The size and paper used on this one is similar to the Yuna photo book.

I find this photo book really fun to look at. The simplicity of Iorin's beauty and the cute and funny faces that she is making in every photo surely made it enjoyable to browse the book.  

Aside from casual/plain clothing, it also have photos of Iorin wearing a Yukata in the park. She's so adorable! (I wish I have a little sister like her~www) Plus, the shots look so natural~!

Now here is my favorite part, the lingerie photos!!www Three words, "Cute", "Hot" and "Sexy"! What made these photos sexier is Iorin's facial expressions~! Her sexy expressions suit her very well in each lingerie photos. It is decently sexy! 

[PHOTOBOOK WRAP UP] Overall, the photo books are great! But I wish Iorin could have made the photo books with more pages, a thicker and bigger paper size, like A4 size paperback photo books~! I don't mind paying more for a thicker and bigger photo book! (^^) 

Now, let's take a look at Iorin's first ever Cosplay ROM. 

Iorin's C89 ROM is かすみ い～じ～も～ど, a DOA Kasumi Cosplay ROM. By the looks of its DVD Cover, the ROM is obviously a "Sexy/Ero" Cosplay ROM. (Check out: [Hanaji Sensei's POV] Sexy Cosplay and Ero Cosplay ROM: It's Just 'Cosplay' ROM)

With lots of cosplay ROMs released last C89, this one stands out among the rest to me. Even though this ROM kinda reminds me of Lenfried's cosplay ROMs, Iorin's ROM has its unique sexiness of its own. She perfectly pulled it off without being too lewd! The 'ecchiness' is just right~!(*´◒`*)

Nevertheless, the costumes are impressive! Iorin did three Kasumi versions in this ROM:

• Kasumi's Default/Signature Costume (Royal Blue)
• Cherish Ver. (White and Red)
• Black and Gold Ver. (DOA4)

Iorin did great in those 3 costumes~ But my favorite is definitely her Black and Gold Version! Iorin's Kasumi Black and Gold Ver. displays immense sexiness! The open side slit costume reveals Iorin's sexy body line which matches her every sensual pose. And Iorin's sexy underarm~💕It is breathtaking! Nevertheless, I like the coolness of her blue Kasumi and the cuteness of her white and red Kasumi cosplay~ (*´ω｀*)

谷間！！！おぱあい！！！最高！！！＼(^o^)／

Moreover, expect lots of 'OPPAI' in this ROM! Iorin's oppai is the best!!! ＼(^o^)／ Powerful Tanima (谷間) or cleavage shots are also waiting for you!www Over 460 photos are included in the CD. That's not bad for a Cosplay ROM debut! However, the ROM still needs improvement in terms of selecting the photos. My suggestion, more ideas for the poses, do and try more/different poses in each photo as much as possible (both cute and sexy poses) and be more playful, just enjoy the photo shoot! ^^

Ako Fujisawa and Ren Nanase Cosplay ROM by Iori Moe -伊織もえ-

Lastly, we have Iorin's Omake Cosplay ROM! It is based on the popular Adult OAV/Hentai series, Yakin Byoutou (夜勤病棟) or better known as Night Shift Nurses! In this bonus, Iorin cosplays as Ako Fujisawa and Ren Nanase of the said series. Despite being an adult animation, Iorin's Night Shift Nurses cosplay ROM is not extremely sexual but effectively sexy and provocative enough to tickle your imagination. Plus, they shot it in a hospital ward which makes her cosplay more playful and exciting. And more of Iorin's signature tanima/cleavage shots! Ahhh~ So much oppai!

[ROM WRAP UP] Well, Iorin did an awesome job producing her first Cosplay ROM! If I'll give these ROMs a rating, it will be R-15 Sexy ROM. It might still be lacking something (depends on what you are expecting from her) but in the end of the day I've seen a potential in her. I grew up loving Lenfried's cosplay ROM and Iorin's ROM is something that reminds me of it. They both do amazing, alluring, and sexy cosplays. Lenfried might be a little too lewd than Iorin but they both brought my imagination to a whole new level!www Please take that as a compliment. Well, Iorin's COSHOLIC17 ROM also looks very promising! I want to have it, too!!! (≧∇≦)

[Hanaji Sensei's POV] Sexy Cosplay and Ero Cosplay ROM: It's Just 'Cosplay' ROM

I've been collecting Cosplay CD-ROMs for 5 years now and most of them are Sexy and Ero Cosplay ROMs. So what's the difference between a Sexy and an Ero Cosplay ROM?

I define Sexy cosplays as cosplays which are, well... 'sexy', hot yet not very revealing, suggestive but not explicit. In a sexy Cosplay ROM, the cosplayer usually displays sexually attractive poses but doesn't expose any private parts. Although it is not limited to stripping clothes or exposing cleavages and panties. It also depends on the type of the characters they are cosplaying. Some characters are simply created with sexy outfits. Good examples of this genre are Itsuki Akira, Enako, Kei Shino, and Hiiragi Mayon.

While Ero cosplays which stands for 'Erotic Cosplay', as the name suggests, can range from being decently sexy to being extremely lewd. Sometimes it may even include sexual acts. Yes, with that said, Sexy cosplay can be considered as Ero cosplay as well but that depends if the cosplayer acknowledge it herself. But what makes an ero cosplay 'erotic' in my opinion is the presence of fetishes being displayed in every ROM and the act of exposing (or at least deliberately trying to expose) their private parts, sometimes nudity. It sounds kinda contradicting with my definition of sexy cosplay but you'll get it...www Well-known examples of ero cosplayers are Lenfried, Ushijima Iiniku, Yutori, Higurashi Rin and Ran, Hiyo Nishizuku, Ai Saotome, Eri Kitami (MEGANE FETISH!!!) and even some Japanese AV Stars like Kana Yume and Abeno Miku. They are usually attending the Cosholic event to sell their ROMs but they also participate in Comiket if they pass the selection.

Then, there are ROMs which are hard to tell which of the two genre it belongs. Unless the cosplayer tell you that it is an Ero Cosplay or Sexy Cosplay ROM. But in general, they never really call it 'Ero Cosplay ROM' or 'Sexy Cosplay ROM'. It is just a 'Cosplay ROM'. The problem is that most people always refer to sexy cosplays as ero cosplays and some cosplayers don't want to call their kind of cosplay ero that is why I have to distinguish the two genre.

Atsuki's ROMs are good examples of ROMs mixed between being Sexy and Ero Cosplay 

It mostly depends on the contents of the ROMs. We also have the ratings for it, R-15 and R-18 Ero cosplay ROM. It's hard to explain what my point really is... But at the end of the day, a Cosplay ROM is just a Cosplay ROM.

But it doesn't necessarily mean that sexy and ero-cosplays are 'bad' cosplays due to their lewd nature. I know that in some countries such cosplay is not acceptable. I feel really sorry about it. Still, I appreciate such genre for its artistic and unique approach in cosplay. To fully appreciate these kind of works, 'RESPECT' towards the cosplayers is important.

In the end, a Cosplay ROM is a Cosplay ROM.
